AlpyneAir Black Illusion, better known as Maya, was one of the pups from
our 2004 litter. This little black puppy took our interest straight away
as at three weeks old, she was the first to figure out how to get out
of the whelping box; at 5 weeks, the only one who knew how to get out
of the kennels; and at 9 months, the one who has figured out how to get
out of our yard and go for a walk on her own! So our little escape artist
got her name - Maya - which is an indian term for illusion - hence, AlpyneAir
Black Illusion.
It was Maya's character that took our eye from the start, but now it
is her looks. Maya already has an exceptional show record, with many classes
in group to-date. She also won a Best of Breed at only seven months of
age over all three of our champions! Some of Maya's show achievements
